These American Silver Eagle coins have a fantastic walking liberty design on the front, designed by Adolph A Weinman and the Heraldic Eagle with Shield on the reverse designed by John Mercanti. All Silver Eagle Coins have these designs and are favourites amongst coin collectors and investors alike.
Silver Eagles or SAE's as the coin is hypened and known as. Are produced in 3 mints within the United States. They are the Philadelphia mint, San Francisco mint and the mint at West Point. You can check the back of your American silver eagle coins to see where they were minted. Each coin is stamped on the back with either a P, for (Philadelphia), S for (San Francisco) and W for (West Point).
