Silver Philharmonic Coins
The Silver Philharmonic coin comes from the country of Austria. It is a universally recognised coin and comes in 1.50 euro denomination. Austria only started minting the Silver Philharmonic in Feb 1st, 2008 and is a direct replica of the Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coin that preceeded it many years before. On the reverse of the coin are a cluster of instruments depicting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which is where the coin gets its name.
There is massive demand for the Silver Philharmonic as its new mintage and design attracted many new and old collectors. Although its primary purpose was introduced to serve as a bullion coin. Collectors everywhere snapped them up and a shortage ensued. Check out below for some of the finest Silver bullion Coins to come out of Europe.
